Data sources, attribution and suppression

OperatorSignal is built around official UK Traffic Commissioner and GOV.UK publications relating to goods-vehicle operator licences. Each retained record should show its publication, date and source link. Companies House matching is only used where lawful, technically available and confidently matched.

No completeness guarantee

Sources can be amended, delayed, incomplete, unavailable or parsed imperfectly. Records are commercial signals, not a legal register or a guarantee that a business will buy, operate a fleet, or remain eligible. Customers must independently verify facts.

Suppression and exclusion

We aim to publish business-level information only and suppress suspected residential/private-address information. A business or person who believes a record is inaccurate, sensitive, no longer appropriate or should be excluded can request review and suppression by emailing privacy@example.com. Requests are queued for human review; suppression is not an admission of legal liability and may be limited by lawful retention obligations.

Before production ingestion, the owner must verify source terms, applicable licences and attribution requirements. See the Privacy notice for personal-data handling.
